Help!

So who can shed some light as to how to clean mud/dirt off of your brand new couch?

Seriously.

My one dog decided to go dig up the yard (problem #1) and then immediately jump on our couch before I could clean her off (problem #2). I got most of the mud off the couch, with the execption of three small stains. My husband then Google'd how to remove those stains and turned up with the recommendation of scrubbing them with laundry detergent (problem #3). Now I have three gigantic blue stains on my beautiful new couch.

How do I get them off? Help!
