Well hello there.
I'm finally ready to share our bathroom updates. It only took me 2 weeks to clean the damn room and make it presentable enough to take a few pictures.
To catch everyone up, since it's taken me so long, you may remember this photo of our bathroom after we had air conditioning installed in our house back in June.
Since our heating unit and water heater are hidden behind our bathroom wall instead of in a closet like a normal house, Justin had to rip down the wall! So after a few weeks of putting up new sheetrock, mudding and sanding, we had a new wall that needed to be painted.
And since I hated this blue color so much, why not just paint the whole room?
Here's what our bathroom looked like before. I really hated that blue color.
I chose a light grey based on some of the inspiration photos that I just loved. We decided not to do any of our other planned updates for the room at this point though, since it's just a temporary fix.
After we're done training for a marathon, our plan is to get a home loan to do a bunch of the rennovations that we're planning for the house, including adding a new master bedroom, and updating the electrical & tub in this bathroom.
So while this is a temporary fix until we get our home loan and remodel half of our house, it's a much more pleasant room to get ready in now that it's a beautifully muted gray color. What do you think?
