I grew up with my Mom growing paperwhites at Christmas and I decided to do it with Oscar this season. We went to the beach the other week and collected rocks and then came home to fill up clear vases and fit the bulbs snugly between the stones. I filled up the vases with water so the bottom of the bulbs were wet. Over the weeks we've watched the roots grow and grow - and it's pretty cool to see how the roots make their way around the rocks in the base. Anyhow, super simple but something that is giving us a lot of enjoyment over here.
