Since we made our new DIY Coffee Table earlier this month, I decided that I wanted our DIY couch sleeve to match.
Justin was smart, and build the couch sleeve and the coffee table top out of the same type of wood (poplar), so I was able to stain and varnish in the same stain color for an exact match. Easy peasy.
Here's a before shot of the couch sleeve that Justin built back when we bought the new couch in February.
While I really love that natural color, it's time for it to match with the rest of the room. So here's what it looks like now that it matches our coffee table!
Look at how well it looks! The room is finally coming together.
Now we just need to build an end table to complete the set!
