I strongly believe that art for the home should be affordable. While I understand why some art is expensive based on the artist talent and costs to create, I'm not about to drop a grand on a piece of artwork for our bedroom.
This is why I believe so strongly in DIY'ing much of my house! People should be able to have a beautiful house, without the crazy designer expenses. So - with our new master suite in my future, I've got some art projects to DIY! While I do loosely consider myself an "artist", I'm definitely not a professional so I'd like to keep the concept simple. Here are a few of my favorite pieces of art I've seen that I'm contemplating painting myself .
